RP journal for Dylan Hunt from the scifi series Andromeda.
Dylan Hunt is the captain of the Systems Commonwealth starship Andromeda Ascendant. After the Systems Commonwealth signed a treaty with the Magog--a race of vicious aliens who were responsible for the slaughter of whole planets--the Nietzscheans plotted to bring down the Commonwealth from within. Dylan's Nietzschean friend and first officer, Commander Gaheris Rhade, was in on the plot. During the first ambush of the Nietzschean rebellion he and Rhade engaged in a fire fight, which ended with Dylan killing his friend and betrayer. During the fight the ship was pulled into the event horizon of a black hole, and Dylan was frozen in time for 300 years. His vessel was salvaged, pulled from the edge of the black hole, and he awakened to find the Commonwealth long since destroyed and the universe a lawless and wretched place in the wake of the fall of civilization.
Dylan gathered together a small crew of misfits and dedicated himself to the restoration of the Commonwealth to bring back civilization and to fight off the massive Magog invasion that was coming.
